What is ‘Content’ & Planning of the content

As an Introductory part, I should talk about basics of content writing. Some of you already are aware of content basics, still they need to be discussed before we begin.

Monday morning, in a commercial organization everyone starts to do their job with the idea that ultimate motto in the end of the day is to convert a lead into a stable customer & for that they use every channel, source & type of marketing whether it is relational or aggressive anything. People do everything in their capacity, but they forget about basics-“The Planning” & when I say planning, it obviously should be the proper one. The essence of every plan in order to lure a customer is the ‘Content’ & when business is about getting more engagement through social media it becomes more important to know about every big & even itsy-bitsy info related to the content. So here some questions arise, such as-

1.What does the term ‘Content’ suggest?

In laconic words, anything written on a website, blog, social media account or anywhere on the www, that is used for different purposes such as an advertisement, manifesto, publicity or to provide information, is known as the Content.

2.Why is the Content a necessity?

In any business, content plays a big role. We can say that a business/organization runs on 3 perpetual processes-

  1. Finance, structuring assets & other resources. (Fund-raisings, IPO)
  2. Marketing (includes Content)
  3. Management (HR, management levels)

Talking about marketing, it is very essential to know here that finance structure, IPO, raising funds & every aspect of finance is related to the performance of the company which becomes better as marketing gets better & marketing gets better in modern world with more engagement,more engagement means reaching out to new customers & being in touch with the old ones using social media. Finally, it all boils down to one thing that Content Creation is a necessity & people want a ‘Content’ to know about you, your product, your services & most importantly about your company.

3.Where to notice the use of Content?

  • In flyers/templates.
  • Social media marketing campaigns.
  • Websites,Blogs & Vlogs.
  • Product descriptions for e-commerce platforms.
  • Informative online platforms.

4.What does a good content has got in the basket for sure success?

First of all, no one can think of it as a successful tool without constantly practicing & improving it. Making progress with the help of Content is a process which seeks patience. A good Content is the one which contains-

  1. Pertinent explanation about tangible (goods) & intangible (services) products.
    A good Content clarifies the benefits & features, also focuses on USP (Unique Selling Proposition).
  2. Speaking of language; Content should be free of error & written in an alluring way. Information that is typed should not too long & not too short. Every Content as an article should be restricted in a specific word limit.
  3. Word limit should not affect the quality of information.
  4. Appropriate images & videos could be included. Note that images & videos don’t play a big role directly for SEO or in page ranking, but still these are the part of a nicer Content piece, always.

Furthermore, I’d like to discuss other aspects of good content creation later on, but the pointers stated above, are the basics for a beginner.
